Certifications
1. Forest Stewardship Council®
The FSC® is an independent non-governmental organization that has developed a certification system for environmentally friendly, socially responsible, and economically sound forest management.
Clairefontaine, Exacompta, and Rhodia all carry FSC®-certified products.
2. Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certifications
PEFC is an independent, non-governmental organization that has developed a set of criteria to promote sustainable forest management. National forest certifications that meet these criteria may be eligible for PEFC recognition.
All Exacompta, Clairefontaine and Rhodia paper products are PEFC-certified products.
3. ImprimVert®, ISO 14001, ISO 50001
ImprimVert® is an environmental certification for the printing industry. It encourages printing companies to implement concrete, measurable actions to reduce the environmental impact of their activities.
ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certifications are internationally recognized standards for environmental management systems (EMS). ISO 14001 provides a framework for organizations to design and implement an EMS and continually improve their environmental performance. ISO 50001 narrows the focus to energy management and continued improvement in energy performance.
Exacompta Clairefontaine is in the process of implementing these certifications across all sites so the group can manage environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that results in a meaningful contribution to sustainability.
