Hey Everyone,
We just found out from our friends over at Scrapbooking.com Magazine, that we were recently the winner of their Blog of the Week!!!!! How exciting is that!!!

Well we did and we also remembered to update the Guest Artist page.
Enjoy our new Guest Artist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have a new guest artist for October. She was kind enough to make something Halloween themed. How Perfect!!!!! Check it out!

Our friend, Katia Dorcin, from Paper2Play has sent in some terrific photos of altered furniture. It’s simply amazing how you can transform some drab piece of furniture in to a fabulous functional work of art.
Below are 3 examples from Katia of regular storage units and matching picture frames.

Categories: Decoupage, Home Decor, FramingIn the last post we showed you some pictures of a Decopatched horse necklace. This week weve got another fan of the paper mache horse, Laura Bray of Katydid Designs.

Check out her blog post here.
Categories: Decoupage, CraftsA little while ago we sent Jennifer Perkins of the Naughty Secretary Club some Decopatch samples and as expected she did a superb job with them. She covered some bangles for bracelets and then transformed one of the Decopatch paper mache animal figurines into a NECKLACE! Pretty neat stuff…check it out here.

Clarebeth decided she wanted to go the carnival of Venice (or Carnevale di Venezia in Italian). She could be mysterious and a little naughty, and maybe even be a completely different person than she was in everyday life. The idea intrigued her.

She might even meet the handsome stranger of her daydreams.
Clarebeth made this beautiful mask to wear during the Carnevale. She also decided to learn more about the original masks Venetians made for the festival.
Ventian masks can be made in leather or with the original papier-mâché technique. The original masks were rather simple in design and decoration.

Categories: Crafts, OtherAnother decoupage blog has been brought to our attention, so here it is for all of you to check out. Paper2Play is a decoupage blog that focuses a lot on Decopatch products. The owner Katia is a huge fan of decoupaging and enjoys teaching kids all while experiencing the fun and ease of Decopatch.
In addition to Katia’s advice and step by step projects, the Paper2Play blog also has an online store where you can buy Decopatch supplies. Check it out here.

A few posts ago we told anyone who had an Etsy Shop to let us know and here’s our first replier. Rose from EyeStreetGal told us, “I love Decopatch so much! I haven’t had this much fun doing art/crafts in a long time.”
Check out her shop, she has a bunch of wonderful Decopatch items for sale.
